!! Expensive!! Toying around
wouldn't it be fun to install a V-10 into a sport fury or a road runner. I wonder if anyone who has lots of green has done anything like that yet.
Any comments! |

Or even better yet, a lighter A-Body. That would be cool. Great 1/4 times and better MPG than a 318.

Dont we all wish we had a lil extra money sitting around. Thought about this a couple of months ago. Takeing our dart and having a chasis built for it. Buying the v-10 crate and put in it. Get the car down to around 2500lbs. It would be fun. But still have it where you can put it on the street. You can buy that book from mopar that tells you all about putting a v10 in a car that wasnt made for it. Theirs a guy here we cruise and go to the track with that has a new viper. It runs 12.20's with a huge amout of wheel spin but his MPH is 118. Thats a huge MPH for a 12.20 pass. It is all stock and drives it to and from the track. Super nice car.

The V10 E-Body swap has been done, I saw a plum crazy Challenger ragtop with one at Carlisle or the Mopar Nats (I don't remember which) and it looked right at home. There was also a Jeep CJ at the "World of Wheels" with a V10 swapped in. If you can shoehorn one into a CJ, anythings possible.
