Question 426 crate motor

how is the performance of the new 426 hemi crate motors? Any problems from them?? Would i have any clearance problems dropping one into a 72 satellite sebring that had a 318 originally.Would i have to change the k member. Would headers go on without problems??

The hemi crates from Mopar are back ordered at this time. They have had nothing but problems with this motor from cam to clearencing. I would not recomd going through Mopar. Their is a guy in Akron that will build you a real nice hemi crate with 550 100% streatable hp for 11,000. Let me know if you want his number and name. Just look around the board to see what everone thinks about the Mopar Hemi Crate. Im sure post about it wont be hard to find.

Hey his name is Larry Sheapred- 330 644-2000. Tell him Dave Freeman told you call. He builds some nasty 440 and hemis. And belive me you get what you pay for from him. Call and talk to him and tell him what you want and what you need. He can build anything but his 426 crate motor is nice. Let me know what you do.
