Lightbulb maximum hp/torque from a 318???

So I have this workhorse in my 68 Satellite, I'm having a milder cam installed, and a 4bbl carb (600cfm), later I'll be installing headers and dual flowmasters.
But really, how much of an increase should I be getting in terms of hp and torque?

The car isn't meant to win any races, I just want the power to be there when I need it.

Thanks in advance!

The cam is milder than what?
The headers and dual exhaust will make a big difference, but with the stock 2-bbl it will be hard to tell. Once you put the 4-bbl intake and carb on (and tune it) it will have much more power. I don't know what cam your installing, just don't go too big unless you plan to change gears and converter.
