ok her is my problem have a 727 trans out of a van no shift kit but behind my 360 it will bark second gear and spin the tires again but when I shift in to drive it acts like i hit neutral and then goes into gear shortly after my kick down linkage is set gas pedal down to the floor and linkage by trans all the way back. in drive car shifts good about 2200 every time it just does it when i put the rpm to it has 2800 stall engine about 400 plus horses thank you for info oh witch band adjustment is for the forward gears

Either you kickdown band is way out of adjustment or you high gear clutch pack is going bad.

which one is the kick down adjustment one in front or one in the inside

The kick down band is the front band and it can be adjusted from the outside of the trans.
