How will this cam run?
How will this cam run in my 383? .455 lift and 272 duration. Will this be lumpy or could I use this cam for a semi daily driver?

Sounds safe enough. You got my vote.... .... of course it would help more if I knew the rest of the combo but so far that cam looks like ok. Just my 2 cents, - BB 70 Challenger - |

It should be fine. I have a Crower "High Performance" Compu-Pro #32242; Advertised Duration: 271*/284* Duration, Duration @ 0.050": 220*/230* Duration, 0.486"/0.494" Lift
in my low (9.2:1) compression 383. My 383 combination is OK, but I'm not really happy with it. I think it could use more compresion and tighter lobe seperation angle. |

Couldn't you pick a smaller cam? Boy you could set a glass of water on your hood and it wouldn't even move! It sounds like that would be a good choice for your intent. Tell us more about your engine combo so we can help you better.

That's a pretty sane cam for a big block. Good tork, decent idle and fuel economy (if that matters) ...............djs
