Default Is there a multimeter test I can do to match a ballast and coil?

Not sure I follow. Coils will have certain values that may vary from year to year. But they should be close when used with the same system. (Points/Electronic)
Same thing with the ballast.
What are we trying to do?
Mopar sells them as to what system your useing. (orange/chrome/gold box set up)
