Angry 2k Durango Tranny is possessed

I am new to the board and have a potentially very serious problem with my 2k Durango (4.7) changing tranny gears on own. I was on a recent trip and experienced the car changing gears from Park to Reverse on its own while the RPMS were climbing steadily to 4k. All the while my foot was on the brake. I had to manually put the car back into park and shut down. Good thing I had my foot on the brake. This has only happened once but is potentially a big liability to me and Dodge if I run over someone. I have heard that this is also occuring to Jeep cherokee's with same engine/tranny set up. Any one have an idea as to the problem- the dealer has no clue. HELP!!!
