Unhappy Brake Problems

My 77' dodge powerwagon has powerbrakes,,,,yesterday some idiot in A ford locks the brakes up so not to miss a turn and i try and lock up my 35" tires, before hitting him,,,,,After i got home i noticed no brakes,,, the one line to the rear split block was blown, i replaced and blead?NO BRAKES, when i get in and start the truck it goes to the floor,,,sounds like the booster is over extending! Should i left the brakes super gravity bleed!!!!??HUH?

Could it be a Vacumm booster! The pedel feels good when the truck is off. As soon as i start it, the pedal goes to the floor and makes a swoosh sound like the booster is bad,,,like the diaphram isn't sealing!???

If the hissing sound sounds like its coming from under the dash, then yes the booster is blown. You should still have brakes even though the booster is bad. A test you can do is pull the vacuum line going to the booster and plug it, this will remove the power boost all together and the car will act as if its manual brakes. I've never heard of a no brake situation with a bad booster.
Other things to look at is the master cylinder, if its leaking into the booster, that will trash a new booster in a very short time. If you pull the master and theres fluild in the area where the push rod comes out will tell you if the master is bad. Good Luck
