I have a 64 cuda with a /6 manual. I want to put in a lake wood with my SB and don't know if there is a difference in forks, z bars, rods, or such between the normal Small Blocks, the Lakewoods and the stock /6. I sure hope they all are the same and bolt up! What about the mouting brackets for the bellhousing side on the lakewood? Joecuda

I did this years ago an a '66. Unless the lakewood has changed in the mean time this is the scoop.
The z-bar is to long, you will need to shorten it. The end balls for the z-bar on the frame and the bellhousing do not line up. You will need to move one or the other. The bellhousing itself will hit the transmission tunnel at the firewall junction. You will need to enlarge that area. Other then that its a "bolt in".
