Question Does anyone know this???

I am trying to figure out whether or not this 318 block I picked up from the boneyard has had it's oiling system modified. Does anyone know the stock size (diameter) of the oiling holes that run from the mains to the lifter bore oil galley and the ones that run to the camshaft (also from mains) for a 1973 318? Any help would be appreciated as I would hate to invest time and money in a block that can't oil itself correctly. I have read the Mopar Engines manual and found no information. Thanks again.

I put the oil galley restricter in the passenger side of my old 340.After you drive the copper tube into the galley, you have to re-drill the oil feeds to the mains.I just went to the hardware store and bought a .312 drill 11 inches long.It slid through the passage in the block fairly snug,so I would say 5/16's should be about right. The ones from cam to main were smaller, but I couldn't tell you their size for sure.I wouldn't worry about the passage sizes unless you think someone restricted the oil feed to the mains, which would be a stupid thing to do.
