How do you know when leaf springs are bad? Please be as specific as possible. `70 CUDA. Thanks!

i would say if the car sags in the rear.also inspect each leaf,and check for broken or cracked leaves.

Colormeclone is right. I also own a cuda. (73) If the springs are stock, the car should be level. If the rear is on the floor, the springs are gone.

Good springs will have a positive arch,that is they should arch upwards,if there flat then rearch them,if they have a negative arch replace them......PRO....
