I am getting ready to put the 8 3/4 back together for my convertible, and need to replace the axle bearings, races, and seals.
I took it apart to check it out, and it looks like it must have been sitting for awhile before I bought it. Are all of the bearings the same throughout the years? I don't know what this rear end came out of, other that it's for an "A" body. Also, who has the best prices for these parts? ------------------ Tom 68 Super Bee 69 Barracuda Convertible |

Also check out your local store. They can't be that bad can they? I figure you'll save on shiping at least. A trade off?

YES rumblefish is right, check your local area. I did and was surprised when I done mine. It ended up that "quality" wise and "price" was right at my local chrysler dealer.
Good Luck.... Keep the dirt side down..!!!! ------------------ 72 charger 85 D150 p/u 85 caravelle |

Hey guys, is the 8 1/4 just like smaller, weaker version of the d60? I can hardly tell them apart!
