Observations on a heat wave.

As I sit here thru another day of high 90's temperatures with a 108-110F humidex rating with no rain or relief in sight I started to wonder... Why do we spend 2 or 3 thousand dollars to vacation for a week at some exotic holiday resort so we can brag about how hot it was, and that there was no rain or clouds in the sky for the whole week but when we get the very same weather at home ABSOLUTELY FREE all we can do is complain about how hot it is and when is it going to end?

That's what we adults call fun.

We also have to have something to spend money on and then complain how much it costs.

I'll sit right here in South Jersey (where the temp just hit 100 and the humidity is about the same) and complain about the weather and not spend a dime!!
