426 wedge Duster

[Duster Wedge]

Going to put a 426 wedge in our Duster this Winter
Have the big block K member and frame ties to do it with
This wedge is stamped HP with an S over it
Colled Mopar and they verified by the numbers on the heads and block its a 64 Wedge engine
Put a hi volume oil pump on it Alum water pump .
It has an offenhouser intake with it,so were going to try it with that first with a 750 elbrock carb
I also put an windage tray in it.
The enging was rebuilt and never run.
Think it should make a mean street machine out of the duster.
Any coments or sugestions welcome

A big block in a light weight Duster will really move. Do you have any info on the engine build? (cam, compression ratio, head casting #) Is the intake you have a dual plane? What headers are you going to run?

That should be a fun car, put as much tire on it as you can...

Yeah, the exhaust, that will be the "fun" part. I'd like to know what headers you plan to use. What size valves do you have in those early heads?
