I'm currently doing the disc swap thats been discussed several times. Does anyone know if the rotors/calipers etc. from a "79" New Yorker will work for this swap? I already have the Duster spindles & have access to all parts I need from this New Yorker.
Does anybody have a clue? I really need discs to stop my sled. By the way on another note, I emailed Edelbrock & they told me that their RPM 440 heads will be out by mid-late November. Just a little fyi. Thanks, Russ |

Yes. Just measure the rotors dia. if you're running 14" wheels as if the the 'Yorker has 11.87" rotors, you'll have to swap to 15" in order to clear the caliper.

The rotors and caliper adapters from the New Yorker should work but I think you'll want the calipers from the Duster. The big car calipers had the hoses mounted differently and I'm not so sure you'll be able to get them to work when front hung.
