torque convertors...?
hey all you gurus out there wanna help a young buck? I'm building my '75 Dart Sport and was wondering if a 727 TQ Convertor would work on a 904? I'm probably being irrational, immature, and just plain dumb for not knowing but I was just wondering... just in case. Thanks in advance!

I dont know 100% but I would say no. Just for the simple fact that when you order one it is 2 differnt part numbers for a 727 and 904. So i would say no they are not the same.

727 torque converter will absolutly not fit a 904, the 904 has a smaller pump drive than a 727. But the valve body is the same.

ALERT !!!!!!
As you probably have heard a million times "the only dumb question is the one not asked" IF you looking for a new or different torque convertor DO NOT be sucked in by GER TORQUE CONVERTORS slick two page ads in most auto mags. Their product is worthless and you'll only end up spending the money twice.
