I want to use the MP Cylinder head on next years race motor. The part number is P4876891. My question is , and this is the hard part, what head casting number is on these heads? In other words, if the valve cover was pulled what would it show on the heads? No one has been able to tell me and my local dealer won't allow me to order them an see without for sure buying them.

It will show the factory service and the factory production part number. What the factory part number is ,I don't know. It wont have a Mopar Performance "P" part number on it.These are just factory replacement heads sold thru M-P with a performance part number for ordering and identification.

I knew chris you would come through.
Some day I want to know how you got, or get all your Mopar info. Thanks, |

Thanks for the kudos. To answer your question,my Dad used to be a warehouse distributor for Chrysler performance parts when it was known as "Direct Connection" part time while he was still in the U.S.Navy,and I used to help him with it,and we have been drag racing Mopars for 30 years.
