Question

Hey there 86 P W;

The gauges are easy. What exactly is it you need to know. What kind of gauges are they? Aftermarket?
If there aftermarket type, the wires on the back are 1 for positve and 1 for negitive for the light behind the gauge face.
The sending units screw into;
Oil...right next to the distributor.
Use teflon tape to seal. Connect the sending units line to the gauge and sending unit. You should have a little peice that the tube slips through and into the sending unit. Theres a cap that slides overthe ferrel to clamp down the sending unit.
Water ; should work the same way. Up front on the engine there should be a place to screw in the sending unit. I don't like the way it looks myself. Like a big sore thumb.

When your putting it together, its the tube in one hand, screw cap in the other. Install cap then ferrel. Then screw cap over ferrel on to the gauge or sending unit.
