I got a question for the PT cruiser guys???

Hey guys, I'm not here to troll. Need some answer for a friend.

My buddy has a PT and he's got it pretty much looking bada$$ with some 18 inch rims and some bumper mods. But now he wants to make it faster. Now with my lightning they have regular superchips that add 30 hp but we also have custom tuners that can get us 50 hp and some better shifting from it. I was wondering if there's any tuners like that for the PT's out there. I don't know allot about these cars, but he wants to go faster with it.

Also he wants to buy headers for it and he told me that you would need to take the motor out to install headers??? seems like someone fed him the wrong info, but do you?

Also what else are some good mods to get for this PT?

Any turbo kits for them at all?

um... there should be a LOT of PT sites out there... check those. U can get a turbocharger for a pt from Hahnracecraft.com and I believe there is some sort of supercharger available for it as well. u might try truckperformance.com for some ideas of where to get things as they sell stuff for PT's but their prices are a little high sometimes. Maybe even Ebay might have some of that stuff.

Mopar Now Magazine is basically dedicated to Neon and PTCruiser performance mods. Try getting some back issues of that and you will probably get the right info and a lot of good ideas.

if he has money and wants to go big time you should check out www.hennesseymotorsports.com the make the hopped up viper they are out of houston. anyway they are planning on make a pt bruiser with the viper v10 in it!
thats about as bad ass as you can get.
