Unhappy Comp cams reatiner on mopar springs?

I just found out today that a cant run a hughes solid lift cam in my 340 because the comp cams valves that I bought are of a 4 grove design. This limits my installed height so now I cant get the hughes cam because it has a 1.8 installed height. So i decide to go with the 284 .528 solid which requires a 1.68 installed height (sock height). But then I just found out that mopar doesent have machined steel locks for their retainers (crap!) So my plan now is to get a set of machined 4 grove 10 degree locks to got with there 10 degree steel retainers from comp cams. Will these work on those mopar springs?
