Question

Swapping a 727 for a 4-speed. What (if anything) needs to be done to the back of the crank to accept the input shaft from the manual tranny? I remember you install a pilot bushing when doing this with a Chebbie, but I've not done it with a Mopar yet.

Yes, it will need a pilot bushing. Another thing is that many engines that were for automatics didn't have the hole machined into the crank, for the pilot shaft.
