Default Sub Frame Connectors

Hey I am thinking about putting competition engineering weld in sub frame connectors on my 70' Challenger. Has anyone used these befor? how do they fit? how much work is required to weld them in? Do they get in the way of anything? good, bad?
thanks,
Mike

I don't know about their weld in connectors, but I have some bolt-in connectors that din't fit, so they are still in the box. After looking at the connectors and the body, it would be easy to just make your own weld-in connectors form sone square tubing.

I sure need to do that as well with my rubberlike convertible. I dread putting a jack under that thing, it bends significantly! I think it would break if I opened the doors. I have some great pictures detailing the conversion from Turbododge (twin turbo 340 6-spd Challenger). This is the way to do it!

Now if I can link them somehow.........his car is at

I would like to cut the floor and make my own. But will the stock seats fit? and will the carpet cover them? thanks,
Mike

You'd have to ask Turbododge for sure, but it looks like it would fit fine. It may rub a little with the seat all the way back, but I think it would be fine. There is still like three inches under the back edge of the seat to clear the bar. I would think that the difficult part would be to get the carpet to fit correctly. I don't know how to make the carpet conform to it.... maybe a heat gun?

If you figure it out, let me know.
