Question

Do 302 castings have large or small ports?
What size are the intake and exhaust valves?
Are they pedistal or shaft mounted rockers?
Does anyone know what the CFM flow is on intake and exhaust?

small port 318 heads with (in theory) 62.6 cc chamber. These have normal rockers and ran non adjustable valve train with roller lifters, but if you change the pushrods you can run whatever you want.....They are good heads for a 360 to boost comp, but don't flow much. Don't go any bigger than a 360 or expect much performance other than a little more zip.....What I mean is, that these heads are cool as is...no more. Hope this helps. Joecuda Also, they only have the small valves 1.78" int., 1.5"exh., but they DO have hardened seats =)

They will flow even better with 1.88" intakes installed. Some articles have stated that they will outflow J or X heads with the same valves. cruzerjd
