Default First year of the 318 high swirl head

What was the first year of the 318 high swirl head? My stepson gave me a 85 Fifth Ave that he wrecked last winter, because he knows I'm a Mopar man and I'll take anything for free. I pulled the 318 and 904 trans and set them aside a few months ago.
Today I started thinking it might be new enough to have the high swirl heads, so I pulled a valve cover and the last 3 digits of the casting number was 302. Does anybody know the casting number of the high swirl head. I have the set of Galen Govier pocket books, but they are not new enough. If anyone know please let me know. Thanks.

is this a trick question? "swirl port" heads are actually more commonly known as "302"s. 85 was the first year. they came on 2bbl equipped cars/trucks/vans i think. i think i have a set but i doubt they compare to ported ebrocks. they (mopar something) says a home porter can expect up to 50hp gain with the proper port job. just imagine the gains possible when a pro does it. keep the vlaves small. i think i heard they re best with 1.94/1.6 something. the whole principle behind swirl ports is based on velocity not volume.
