Spitfire Tri-Y Headers
Anyone using Spitfire Tri-Y headers from H. Johnson in an A-Body? How do they fit and how easy are they to install. I'm thinking of ordering them for my 72 Duster w/power steering and was wondering if anyone has any input for me. Thanks.

A friend of mine ordered some for his '65 way back in MARCH, and still has not got them. Threatened him with a mail fraud suit a couple of months ago after all correspondence were exhausted, and was promised next week delivery, still no headers. I understand he had an injury but this was months before it happened. I hope it works out, they seem to be Gods gift to early A's. Now I'm reading they will fit all apps '67 and up? What happened?

Hey Pishta!
How you doing? Thanks for the info. I didn't ordered them because I've sent a few EMails and a couple of phone calls to this guy and he never answered any of them, so I gave up. I found a guy in the area that has an excellent mandrel bending system and I'm thinking of using him. The main draw back is the cost $500. But he makes them custom for your car. When I get my new engine put in we should get a few guys together and meet at Fudruckers near Arcadia. I'll drop my wife off at her brothers house and spent some time there. Gary |
