Jayski is reporting that Penski racing is going to Dodge in 2002,I heard rumors of this in 2000,maybe it will happen next year

I would love to see more people running Dodges, when the 353 ci HEMi is introduced we will see even more people running them.

I know that Joe Gibbs has Pontiacs, Labonte and Stewart. Who owns Johnny Bensons car?

Ask yourself this question? What brand of motor is in his CART teams? Penski is very close to mercedes, do you think they are gonna allow him to run a FORD. I would say chances are good he will change. He has some other connections to Dodge, so I would bet he will join our camp.

Hey, the more the merrier! Every Dodge team added is one less (hopefully!) Shivvy or Fhord team that qualifies. Also one more Dodge fella to hopefully block some goof bowtie driver like Bodine, I still haven't forgetten when that clown put Sterling in the fence earlier this year.

Penske will go with whatever brand makes sense.

In the mid-70s Penske ran American Motors Matadors. Bobby Allison won four Winston Cup races for him driving AMCs!

I think it would be awesome if one of the big, established teams made the switch. They wouldn't dare make the switch last year because Dodge was unproven. Now they all know that Dodge is a real force. Get some big teams to switch to Mopar, and the wins will start piling up...

I thought the teams they have now were Big Teams.Granted a lot of rookies,give them sometime.This is a learning year in many ways,after all no notes on the car,as well as mostly rookie drivers,or almost rookie drivers

Hey that would be great if it works out.
Seeing all the engine trouble penske is having this year and the
fact that mopar still builds the "BEST" engines in the business,those teams would definetly benefit from gong to mopar.
Not being much of a rusty fan i wouldnt really care in that aspect
but im only 30 minutes from South Bend,In and would love to see
Ryan Newman in a Dodge "he is from South Bend".
I think this kid is going to be very good in the not so distant future.

About 4 years ago they interviewed Rusty and he said that he would like to race a dodge, I can't remember what it was but I think its when dodge was getting back into trucks and it was still a rumor. But rusty said right on TV that he would love to race a dodge. Besides Ryan Newman is a helluva talent and I would be glad to see him in a Dodge.

I dont think there is anywhere in town to build a "Rusty Wallace Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth"!! But it will probably happen anyway!
