Angry Purposely Ignoring Sterling's and Dodge's Historic victory?

Here it is, half a week away from Sterling Marlin's historic , yes I mean HISTORIC victory in every sense of the word, and yet the utter non concern and meek coverage it has gotten, shows a pro GM bias at most auto racing websites and news services. For example, ESPN.GO.com religiously trumpeted every one of Chevrolet's victorys in the Pro Stock Truck series, a series that happened to die from lack of interest, yet to find anything on the site at all about the Dodge Nascar win, you had to dig clear thru the site to find one very short write up. Same deal with AutoExtremist.com, not even one word written. Yet these same people couldn't wait to brag about Corvette's victory in Texas, completely leaving out the fact that the only reason the vette won, was because the factory Vipers weren't racing anymore. Hell, even one of the model kit companies made a kit of that car to commerate the empty victory. Does anyone care that a modified Vette can outrun an Audi? I just hope Sterling and the rest of the Dodge boys can keep posting victorys, I'm just curious how long they could keep ignoring Nascar, if that happened. I expect the bowtie boys will holler spoiler height and cry unfair, if we win many more.
And yes, what a sorry situation this is. A company banned for 24 years, for being too successful, comes back and wins a victory, and no one can even report it properly, like it isn't even news? Something is wrong here, folks. If not for Moparchat and a few other Mopar sites, you'd think nothing had happened, and maybe that's just the idea. Has any news service gave this wonderful Chrysler victory, much coverage at all?

Angry

While a win is a win, do you think its possible that they are ignoring it because it was due to the rain and not actually a clear cut victory? To the classic Furd and Cheeby minds this one probably doesn't count and I would put the media in the same class as far as their thinking goes.

Default You are wrong...

There was a few words written on autoextremist.com. It was 3 arrows up but it was only a few words. Marlins name was mentioned, as well as the Dodge team.
