Default 8 mph shakeing and shuttering

Hi all: I have a 1985 Diplomat that has a funny shaking going on when you first start off. This happens if it is cold or hot. When I first start it is fine until I get to 8-10 mph and then the car shakes and shutters and then is fine from then on. Everytime I start off it does this. I have checked the universal joints and they are solid (happened before in a dodge but going about 30 mph). The tires have been balanced so it isn’t that. What else is there other than the torque converter and transmission. I haven’t done the band adjustment yet. Anybody have any ideas on this on

Had the same problem twice before, once was a broken trans mount. The other was a broken motor mount. Shook like hell when the car needed the torque the most. Easy fix for about 15 each and half hour time.

Is the shaking in the drivetrain or the suspension?
Is it front or rear, or the whole car?

It is hard to tell if it is the drivetrain or the suspension but I kind of leaning towards the drivetrain as the culprit. The whole car seems to shake both the front and the rear.
