Thumbs up My Mopar (One of them)

Attached is a recent pic of my 67 Plymouth Belvedere with a 383. I have had the car for 5 years and have done alot of work to it mainly in the motor. In Sacramento, California I run a solid 13.40 at 100 mph. The 383 is stock on the bottom but built on top. So basically, the motor is somewhat stock.

Motor details:

Erson cam .480/282
Erson lifters
Mopar Performance rockers and shafts
Comp Cams push rods
Stock 516 close chambered heads
Edelbrock 383 torker intake
Holley 650 "double flood" carb. mechanical secondaries
Steel crank kit (stock) except for Clevite 77 bearings (oil grooved)
Hedman headers to 3 inch exhaust exiting out of three chambered flowmasters.
4.10 gears in an 8 3/4 rear end

That is pretty much my 383 but am currently building a torque monster 440 for the car. That 383 is the matching numbers motor for my Belvedere so would like to save it from my abuse. LOL

Enjoy the pics.

Scott

Looks like a beautiful car! Have you run any new times since you put in the 509 cam?

Thumbs up .509 cam installation

Hi Charger 500,

I emailed you or left a private message actually and mentioned that I have not yet put in my Mopar cam because I am waiting on the purchase of the new edelbrock aluminum heads for my 383.

I'll let you know how my 1/4 mile times differ from my old ones once they are installed. God bless.
