GM HEI Igniton/Fuel Injection for your /6.
Here are the HEI pages/info.
http://liquid2k.com/duster318/tech/hei.html http://www.slantsix.com/UBB/Forum7/HTML/000011.html EFI Conversion Info: http://www.slantsix.org/articles/dib...conversion.htm http://www.slantsix.org/articles/dib.../efi-conv3.htm http://www.slantsix.org/articles/dib...i/appendix.htm http://www.slantsix.org/articles/bry...an_long-fi.htm http://www.slantsix.org/articles/Efi...nstruction.htm the 7-pin HEI from the first HEI page (my design) allows you to use the EFI from a GM 3.8L Batch-Fire V6, and not have to pony up the $$$ for an MSD box. it also is a direct plug in, and you will have no trouble with the computer codes if eveything is hooked up right. The GM 3.8L batch fire system is the best matched and easiest to adapt to a slant six. if you use an aftermarket TBI type setup that says you can control igniton timing with the use of a gm 7-pin distributor, the HEI will also allow you to do that. Hope the information helps! |

others have looked into the jeep setup, but found it to be trickier to adapt. Plus the 3.8L system is more flush in junkyards.

What does that mean?
What does batch fire mean? I really want to fuel inject my mopar engines but I have no idea where to begin. I understand sequential fire injectors some what but this batch fire thing is really weird to me. Can you explain?
Thanks Walter |
