Default vin code

what is g == to in 1970 vin code 6th digit engine code i know it is 383 2bl in 69. 70 changed

The 5th digit on a 1970 vin # is the engine code (not 6th). In Galen's book a "G" is a 318 2bl. I have most all of
Galen's books and would be happy to look anything up for anytime. E-mail = fawcett@sierratel.com.
