Question

Hey guys, just picked up an Offenhauser 360 low deck (B engine)intake manifold, its obviously a pretty old looking single plane. Any body have one? Are these things any good? Or did I get robbed? Considering what they get for new mopar intakes the price was right.
See Ya

Hi dartmeister.
I have'nt test the offenhauser 360, but I've tried several other intakes.
I like the Weiand TeamG and Mopar M1 intakes.
With the Team G I've run 10.02 and with another cam and a M1 I was down to 9.91.
Have fun. Jocke

Dartmeister, Offenhauser has not kept up with technical advancement over the years.Suggest you look for a more current manifold based on your needs. Well need more specific info on your setup and driving habits(street, strip) etc

Slap it on and see what happens. Maybe it'll at least look cool, and it was probably good once. If ya got it cheap you might as well try it, right?

Thumbs up

I have an offy on my 440 it works fine for the street but as HOLESHOT said they have not kept up with technical advancements, so a better choice might be a m1 or an edelbrock if you have the bucks. the offy will be ok for the street though not as well as a newer design.

A buddy told me today that he thinks Offy still makes these things and that the reason they call them a 360 degree manifold is because they designed them to run good on the bottom and all the way through to the top end. Well, in theory anyway. So I guess you guys are right, its not exactly a race piece. Thats a good thing though because my Dart isn't exactly a race car. he he. And considering what I paid for it, it fits right in with the whole low budget theme thing. Thanks for the input! See Ya!
