i've run a set of smallblock heads for 2 years now....no problems.....

for the price you really cant beat the deal.....unless ur a machinist or know 1 that would give you a deal its hard to get new vlvs& 3 angle, new guides, springs, and ready to bolt on for that price..

Overall I am happy. The reason I bought them was that to put all that new stuff into my old ones would cost about the same.

Remember you are getting production level work for only $500. After I got mine, I had to shim my valve springs to get the correct height/presssure. One head was 2 cc's more than the other, and the valve tips (at rocker) were not all the same height, about 0.020 variation. Although a little machine work was done just below the larger valves, I recommend some hand porting in the bowls to make better use of those valve sizes.

Thumbs up

I got the Aerohead 452 heads for my 400 and I was very pleased with them for how much I payed for them. I also had them bowl ported while they were at the shop for an extra 150 bucks. Then Once I got them, I used a die grinder and some blue dye, and marked the heads and gasket matched them for more flow. They're a good buy and I would reccommend getting a set.

FYI, shipping on a pair of cast iron heads will be around $60.
