Default 440 "A" body wagon

Hi guys, a couple of months ago I made mention of a 440 powered "A" body wagon that I built. I just thought you guys might want to see a video of it in action against a modified turbo 4wd GSR lancer.

go here to have a look

Thumbs up I'm mightily impressed!

What a beautiful monster station wagon you have there!
Station wagons have a nice advantage over regular cars with a better weight balence & you sure know just what to do with it. HeeHee!

Yeah it's good fun, and the rallye wheels suit it well.

The 440 has gone into another vehicle now but it's getting replaced with a 340 that should be capable of similar times. I'm looking forward to getting back on the road. It's so comfortable, because we re-did all the trim in cloth and it has a split-bench in the front, so it seats 6. I tell you there's nothing like cruising around with 4, 200+ pound guys in the car and still blowing away little turbo rice-rockets!!!

and on 245/60/15 street tyres as well. Kelly Chargers to be exact, which aren't the best traction tyre in the world. you have to be real gentle off the line or it's smoke city, but as you can see it still gets moving. Top end is where it all is though, as the 3.23 open centre doesn't let you get into it off the line!!
