Steering quickner on manual steering?
Has anyone ran a steering quickner on a car without power steering and how well does it work?

I have not run a quickner without power steering but I would imagine it would be about like running a ps box without the power part. I have lost a p.s. hose while racing and was not able to keep up with the car without it and had to pull out(we are talking dirt arent we?)

Dont know about asphalt, but on dirt you better have power steering, and highly suggest 2 to 1 quickener, absolute most!!!!!!!!

I threw the power steering belt one night at the start of a feature. I was racing a Wissota Mod and it had a steering quickner on it. I was able to wrestle the thing around thanks to the 17" wheel. I worked up from 15th starting spot to 7th when the trans failed to shift up to drive on a restart. I was done then. It was a real chore to handle even a Mod without power steering. I'm not Lou Ferrigno, but I'm not Peewee Herman either. 5'10", 220 lb, big shouldered, fat headed German.
