Cool

REVIRSION PLATES WERE USED IN OPEN PLENUM MANIFOLDS TO ASSSIST FUEL SIGNAL STRENGHT.THEY LOOK LIKE A ALUMINUM INSULATER PLATE WITH 4 TUBES SLIGHLTY LARGER THAN THE THROTTLE PLATES.THE TUBES ARE A SPECIFIC LENGHT TO HELP THE LAUNCH SIGNIFICANTLY.MOROSO MADE SO YEARS BACK BUT UNABLE TO FIND ONE TO COPY OR BUY.THIS IS A TRICK WHICH ALL THE TOP DRAG RACERS USED AND I THINK IT WOULD HELP MY ON CAR.

Holeshot, start stacking Phenolic insulators! If youve seen em, you can make em. PAW sells a new spacer that has a few ridges in it for better torque, I think it is even called a torque step. Seems maybe their time has come and gone (remember Man-A-Fre ?). Maybe you can bring em back.

If I don't know, I won't talk. However, while making my manifold, I asked the head porter why he was including a four hole spacer over a open spacer. Total height = "2.00. He gave me the "I'm not giving the secret away" look. That was 1994, and now it's available as a "new" innovation. It's good to have your engine builder have a pipeline to Cup cars.

Magna-Flow fuel systems are the only co I know of that currently make reversion plates. They are billet alum, really nice.

HS,the most effective way to increase your "signal" at the carb is within the carb, annular boosters combined with improved metering systems generate all the signal required by HP engines with low vaccum,All the Holley dominators employ these features and BG can supply any Holley with them too.I remember reversion plates in the mid 70s,guys even had tunnelrams with tubes that exited from the side reentering the opposite side of the TR which actually improved the low speed signal because of a greater displacement, even todays intake manifolds have superior designs to add to signal strength.....PRO....
