Default dakota vs many...

my friend has a 94 dakota 3.9 v6 that doesnt have many mods at all....something like spark plugs, a k&n air filter and a flowmaster crossflow exhaust(he removed the spare tire)...he has alot of cosmetice mods....a fiberglass hood, roll pan, slammed to the ground with 17 inch boyds....anyway

this truck is suprisingly fast....he raced my brother in his 99 sonoma...his sonoma is an extended cab sportside zq8 that has a 4.3 v6 with hypertech programmer, airaid intake, march pulleys, flowmaster exhaust. also has many many cosmetic mods...

well my brother talks his crap...but so does my friend...well...one night my brother is drunk and his friend is driving....the line up at the local spot to race....the run them for as long as they can...something like 3 miles...and the dakota stayed right beside the sonoma until 100 or so...then my bros truck pulled him...

this little dakota has beaten many many vehicles that i never thought it would beat....did he just get lucky with a suprisingly fast truck.????

(mumble) dang ol' web footed swamp dwellers...

Shreveport's almost spitting distance from where I was born 'n raised in Texas.

Always good to see folks that "talk right". People in AZ talk awful funny.

My dad lives in Monroe and my grandparents in Shreveport. I will second the fact that my truck is quick but its not "fast" yet.

Depending on the drivers in both trucks probably would determine the winner. As they are pretty close.
