Is their anyway to pull start a vehicle with a 727 in it?

Realisticly No. If you had lots of time to screw around Yes maybe. You'd have to have a lock-up converter (don't know if the 727 ever had one) and you'd have to have some way of supplying hydraulic pressure to the R/1 tranny clutch drum. So it would be a pain in the a$$.

Not since 1965. I believe that was the last year that could be pulled or push started. It has to do with the elimination of the rear pump in the trans. I have done it in my youth on a 64 I had and it is not a great thing to do. You have to get the car going like 35 to make it possible.

Well that is what I though, just had to ask to see. Putting an auto in the truck, and one of the biggest draw backs is the inability to pull start it.
