Default Crazy N02 Bottle Mounting

I was wondering how legal / plausible it would be to mount a NO2 bottle on the hood of a car kind of where a blower would sit if you had one. A friend of mine brought up the idea because he thought it would be insanely menacing to look at and would be just cool cause no one has done it. Of course I said no on has done it because of some good reason I'm sure. Anyone want to englighten me as to the reason why no one has hood mounted NO2? Perhaps street legalness or installation problems? Thanks for the info in advance.

As for legality, check under "obstructed vision". As for why not, the bottle has to be at an optimum angle for proper dispensing. As for why not again, the bottle would rather be heated to a certain temp to keep the pressure consistant. Maybe you would be better putting the plumbing or solenoids out in the open. how about a big "10000 RPM" or "NOS Systems" sticker on your front window. Get ready for some nasty responses, like what size coffee can are you using for an exhaust tip.....

I'm not a big sticker person. I'd rather have my stickers underneath my hood where they belong, but I was just tossing around the hood mounted NO2 bottle for fun just to see what people would say. I don't htink it would be on a car where the question is what size coffee can is youre exhuast tip but more like what big block is under the hood. I'm no rice-boy.

maybe because you would look like a moron if you put a nitrous bottle on your hood. that should be reason enough.

Heheh, sorry about the ludicrous idea. Probably just some late night insanity seeping through to the forums. As for the Fast and Suicidal movie, I'd have to throw on some neon lights and a wing on the bottle to make it in one of those movies. But it looks like I'll just go with the blue bottle in the trunk setup like everyone else.
