Heres the run down:

Original 340/ slap stick car

non-original motor (318)
non-original tranny (904)

Leather buckets
non-rallye gauge cluster

3.91 489 SURE-GRIP

White ext./Black int.
(fair cond. paint --few rust bubbles)

power brakes

a/c car, but removed who knows how long ago?

$2000 cash drove it home, from get this a Shevy guy who didn't know CRAP about it! Been 8 miles from my house at least 2 yrs!!!!! I guess what some say holds true, "You never know what you might find in your back yard, if you'd just mow it!"

Well a smile is on my face "my first E-body"

Any bids? Nah not really.

Cool, Dude!
I just picked up my '74 Challenger yesterday too!!. I paid $3500 for it. It is blue with black interior. It is pretty much rust free, with a couple of rust spots on the rear quarters down the bottom, a couple in the trunk pan, each about the size of a quarter and one on the 'c' pillar.
The interior is almost perfect. It has a 318 with a 727 slapstick auto. I also got an extra 360, 2 sets of heads and all the parts still in the box to make it an R/T clone. The fender grills, R/T Hood, Stripe decals, rear window louvres and 'Go Wing'.
Mine was also about 20 miles from my house!
I can't wait to get this thing on the road!!
Good Luck with your car!

Nice work fellas.

I read in a mag a few years back that if you take out a map and draw something like a 20 mile circle around where you live your dream car is within that circle. Someplace.
