9 second neon
this months Mopar Muscle magazine has an article on a wicked neon. Forward Motion put the car together with help a couple of companies. the 2.4L twists up to 9,600 rpm has dynoed at 700 hp with 480 hp making it to the front wheels. the neon ran a 9.78 at 144 mph at Summit Import Racing event at Englishtown. great article on one wicked neon.

That is a cool neon. Too bad there isn't much left of her as far as stock body and parts. But this is something that has been long over due. Finally those Honduh owners have something to worry about. BTW Anyone read the article on the SRT?
