Default ignitor electronic ignition question

when the ignitor says it fits all small blocks does it fit the 318 poly too? or does the poly need a special ignitor? i have to change the points soon and i am opting to go with this instead.

The Pertronix Ignitor is set up to be a replacement for the current points and condensor. If your using the same points as the a-block 318, you should easily be able to do the swap. It uses the same mounting screw as the points and set the gap for the pickup at 30. Red wire to coil+, black to coil-. Your done. So long as you can set the gap at 30, your good I think.
