I'm trying to decide between Dynamic and Turbo Action for a drag race converter for my current race car project, a 1974 Duster 360 that is becoming a 225 Slant Six race car. In talking to someone at Dynamic today, and giving what information I know now, it seems like I can choose between a 9-1/2" converter or an 8" that can flash to the 4200-4600 rpm range, but would not be too good for the street. It's going to be a mostly drag race car, but will be driven 25 miles to the track, as well as around town cruising. I'll probably get the 9-1/2". Will either of these companies take back and modify a converter further after you've tried it? And which one do you think can do a better job? I've already set aside my coming income tax refund for a good converter, and expect to pay $600-$800 for it.

Cool

I just bought a Dynamic 9-1/2" converter for my '73 440 Duster. I can't tell you about its performance, since my car is still in the construction phase. It is designed for my combination, and should flash between 4,200 to 4,500 rpm. I will do some limited driving on the street, you know, the Friday and Saturday night thing. I dealt with Sean.
Dynamic will modify your converter if it doesn't perform to your liking. You can't go wrong with Dynamic, although T-A is good also.

I believe Dave is right, Frank will usually allow one "adjustment" after the sale. Both are good. I put over 3,000 passes on a XXM4400 TA. I don't think you'll see quite the customer service at TA.
