OK this isn't really about mice, but a similar sound. In my 86 diplomat (ex-cop car), anytime I go over a bump the front end squeaks. There's nothing lose. I just rebuilt the frontend on the dip and I can get it to squeak by just pushing down on the front end. I can't find the squeak. I have to rebuid the front end on my wife's 68 station wagon this weekend and don't want two squeaky cars. Any tips on installing the new bushings so they don't squeak. The bushings are just the original equip. from PST. Not the urethane bushings. Should I put any type of grease on the bushing?

Souds like the sway bar to me. Easiest fix I've found is anti-seize compound! It's not affected by the weather & should last for years.
Good luck! <font color = 990033>DB</font> |
