Does anyone have any information or specks on the 5.7 engine out for 2000. Bore-stroke-rod length? This may be the engine to make the famous tree-fitty chev a lay engine boys bow-tie just a little too tight around their necks.

The 5.7 is on the back burner, as of now the available engines are 4.7, 5.2, 5.9. The 5.7 was to be a larger version of the 4.7 SOHC, but with the entry to nascar, the SOHC was dropped in favor of the new pushrod motor, the 354 hemi. Will probably be a couple years before we see the hemi in a production car or truck.
