Lame.
The articles are lame, the cover price was
$5 and a bi-monthly subscription is $17 or $18 dollars.
What are these people thinking?

Hey, Doc! You did'nt find the(Jan.2001) article on the 900 hp 572" B-1 Monster Masher interesting? Or the "Foolish Pleasure" Road Runner feature car absolutely COOL?!? Have to admitt it probably aint the best Mopar rag! Mopar Action still gets my vote there. Cover price for HPM is 5 bucks Canadian 4 smackers US.

I dunno, I stock up on them for when I can't be online, like when the wife wants "Quality Time."

HeY Melrose Man,

You better look at that cover again:
It does say $5.00 US
I thought the cashier overcharged me at first until I looked at it.
The think that really torqued me was half the magazine is a 2001 calender.
That is the LAST THING I need is another calender when I get one from every speed shop in town, at least two from my bank, another dozen from various part vendors, and that stupid little stand up one from my insurance company.
MY all time favorite is MoPar ACTION
Some of the writers for that one use to write for Cars Illistrated. That was a hard core car mag with articles like the best ways to outrun the cops. It wasn't long before they got shut down.

Theres's a CALENDER!?? HEY, I got ripped off, man!! All my issues(I subscribe) say USA $4.00 / CAN $4.99! Are we talking about the same rag, DOC? Has red "Foolish Pleasure" 69 Road Runner on cover and yellow 70 Hemi Cuda. Alas, but NO CALENDER!! Are you sure you did'nt mistake the Manufacturers Product Showcase lay-out for a calender? hehe

Nope,
January 2001.
Has a red Road Runner on the cover doing a burnout with "Foolish Pleasure" on the door.
US $5.00/Canada $5.99
half the magazine is a Summit Racing Calender.
I must have gotten suckered by a newstand verion of the real magazine do you think?

I must agree that Mopar Action is consistently the most interesting and well put together Mopar Rag of the bunch right now. That doesn't mean very much though, in terms of quality writing. Poor language runs rampant at all the mags, the type of stuff that fails people in High School English. I don't care personally, I'm there for the tech and the pics, not the fluid prose.

The crazy looking dude who publishes Mopar Collector's Guide has got to take the cake though, with his sexist and bigoted rants. This slap thinks he can spout off on subjects ranging from Ecology, Technology, Politics, Law Enforcement -often withing the same issue!

My $.02 on the whole Mopar Magazine Industry is this: More Tech, More delicious Mopars of all kinds, and less self-rightous writers like Robert Wolf!

I agree with you icycleboy.
Sometimes I wonder if the pictures of what is being done in a tech article and what the writer has written might have gotten mixed up with a different article.
Some writers really don't know how to write in an instructive fashion. It reminds me of reading a tech manual on a peice of equipment that was poorly translated from German. You would have to read the same passage two or three times to grasp what they are saying.

Hey, Doc, maybe you bought a special issue. That $1 calander could be worth money in a mere 300 years!
