Default B-body K members

I have a 67 Coronet with a slant six. I want to install a 440. Do I need to change the K member to a V8 member? If so, will a V8 K member from a 66 Coronet fit in the 67?

Yes you will have to change your k member. and yes the k member off the 66 should work.
3 years ago i switched from a slant 6 to a v8 in my 67 Belvedere I,
i used a k member from a 69 charger, it took me 3 days with little help from anybody (I won't do that again, get help!)

Without going into to much detail this is pretty much how i did it; drain all fluids, first remove radiator then motor and tranny (attached), remove wheels, disconnect break lines, remove torsion bars, disconnect steering wheel from the gear box and remove 4 big bolts that connect k member from sub-frame.
I don't think i left out anything, hope this helps.
