Default trans. question

i have a 727 trans. in my 85 power ram and i'm going to change the filter and fluid. could somebody tell me how much fluid to put back in.

Exactly as much as you drain out,start with 4 qts then run it and cycle it thru the gears,then recheck your level hot in neutral,once it looks full go around the block and recheck it again,it may take more..............PRO........

Look for the drain bolt in the converter if it has one. If it does, drain the converter also. Be careful when starting up, make sure it is as full as it can be and keep adding fluid until full.
