I WOULD LIKE TO RELOCATE MY MC TO A NEW AREA ON MY 70 DUSTER KIND OF LIKE THE STREET RODS DO (UNDER THE CAR) OR SEVERAL INCHES HIGHER THAN STOCK. I RUN FENDERWELL HEADERS AND WOULD LIKE THE EXTRA CLEARANCE. ANY SUGGESTIONS? THANKS, MOTOR

MoPar offers a kit for A-bodies. It offsets the master. This was introduced to help with the big block A-body swaps. I think it even helps with the HEMI.
As far as other locations. A check in a street rod mag would help. I've seen relocation kits in there. The type of kit where the master gets moved to the side frame rail under the driver. |

I have another suggestion. Use Zippy's adapter block and use an aluminum MC. They are smaller than the cast iron ones. Then buy one of the heat shields that goes on the master cylinder. I bet that will solve your problems. You can find Zippy over on the moparts.com board. Or check out the stuff at http://www.geocities.com/ron_v0

I have one of the MP units, I don't think it will give me what i'm looking for. I would also like to use "T" bolts with my cast MP valve covers and can't get them on the back corner. The "T" bolt issue is minor, I really just want the extra clearance. I will probably sell the MP unit at a bargain price if someone wants it. $50.00
