Good question. Is there an epoxy out there thats not effected by gasoline?

Ant good quality 2 part epoxy glue should do the job. It will stick like it is welded and is totally impervious to gasoline. Also there is an outstanding product called "seal all" which comes in a yellow tube/red lettering that gas won't touch. I once smeared 1/2 a tube on a brown paper bag, held it against a leaking gas tank till my arm got numb, and it never leaked again! All of these products are readilly available at hardware and department stores. Hope this helps. P.S. how did the hole get in the carb bowl?

Well, a few years ago, when I was younger and dumber, I was trying to pry apart the bowls with the 2 screws still in the middle, The ones in the choke air horn. And I, well you know. Dumbass!
